Classes
The importance of Dance is to understand first what these 4 types of dances mean with God’s Word. And afterwards the meaning of the moves & and styles. More off will be taught in theory to dance practically.
Praise Dance
In praise we acknowledge and express how wonderful, amazing, glorious God our Creator is. When we express this in the art of dancing we rejoice in celebrating our Maker for who He is. The art of dance is one that breaks walls and barriers so God’s holiness and presence can enter and fill the atmosphere! He is worthy of praise (Psalm 18:3).
Worship Dance
Worship dance is acting out, and expressing full submission, unconditional service and a deep awareness understanding that God alone is worthy. The act in ministration in leading others in worship through dance, makes that Gods spirit needs to take a front seat and full control so He can move, manifest and impart His people how He desires. The emphasis is living in Holiness in a sacrificial lifestyle behind the scenes. The posture of your heart will determine the impact of ministration. “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” Romans 12:1
Prophetic Dance
Prophetic dance requires the dancer to live a life of holiness and sacrificial dedication behind the scenes. It is not only about the outward expression but also about the posture of the dancer’s heart. The impact of ministration through dance is directly linked to the dancer’s spiritual discipline and their relationship with God. As Romans 12:1 states, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
Apostolic Dance
Apostolic dance is a profound form of worship that involves expressing full submission and unconditional service to God through movement. It is rooted in the understanding that God alone is worthy of all honor and praise. This form of dance transcends performance, becoming a sacred ministry that leads others into a deeper worship experience. In apostolic dance, the dancer invites the Holy Spirit to take the lead, allowing God to move, manifest, and impart His will upon the congregation as He desires.
